Bern travel pass

I will staying at Bern for a few days at relative’s home, and therefore won’t receive the free Bern ticket for the whole stay. Is there an economical ticket or pass I can buy to travel within the city of Bern?

SunnyHB You can buy day passes for CHF10.40 every day, I don’t think that other offers are available.

You can buy these passes at the vending machines at the bus or tram stops every day or you can install an app on your mobile phone, for example “SBB Mobile”, and buy the tickets in this app.

I wouldn’t bother with online tickets and simply go to the SBB Travel Center in Bern and tell them your needs. They could sell you a multiple-journey day pass for 6 days, to be validated every day before use.

You’ll get such a day ticket/pass automatically by buying a return ticket for any connection within the zones 100 and 101. A single ticket costs half as much, but is only valid for 1 hour.
