Group Ticket

Hello!
I’m representing a group of scouts from Portugal who are going to Switzerland next August. We are looking for train tickets to go from Geneve Airport to Kandersteg. I can see that there is a group ticket available on this website, but my question is that once we buy the group ticket we have to choose the exact train schedule or can we go from one point to the other at any time of the day?
Example:
I bought a group ticket from Geneve Airport to Kandersteg on the 2nd of August at 2 pm, the ticket is valid for the train at 4 pm in case my plane is late?

When you travel on a group ticket, on long-distance trains (IC, IR) seats will be reserved for you.
Depending on the size of your group, the entire coach will be reserved.

If you travel on a later connection, the ticket is still valid. But, there won’t be any reserved seats, and you have to find seats yourself. In addition, other travellers (commuters) may get angry because you did not use the train which had seats reserved for you, and you are going to take ‘their’ seats.

Thank you very much. My only concern is if the plane is late to Geneve and our group can’t catch the train that we previously bought and we lose a lot of money.

As I said in my first reply, it is valid for any train. You simply lose your reserved seats.
