Customer Number

I have downloaded the Swiss rail app and have purchased passes on SBB.ch as well.
My profile does not contain a customer nor do the passes.
I have gone through the customer activation process but when it gets to getting the activation code that they say they will send to my email, it never comes. Have tried 3 times.
I am not able to find a way to notify them that it is not working.
Help! Any ideas?

You are talking about the SBB Mobile app. You took the wrong path, you were about to set up the app as a resident. As a tourist, you will not have a customer number. This is the link to set up the account: https://www.swisspass.ch/register/2

Can you retry?

Also, tickets that you bought as a guest will not appear in the tickets list of authenticated users.

The link provided gives me 2 options. I own a Swiss pass or no customer number
in I own a pass, it asks for a customer number which I do not have.
In no Customer number I put in all my information to the point where I am waiting for an email from swisspass that never comes.

The passes that I purchased are the Swiss half fare cards for my family as well as myself
I want to use the app to book travel and pay as I go using the app.

I called the SBB in Switzerland and they advised me that since the pass is not effective right now , when I arrive at the airport to go to their office there and they will attach it on om app and even show me how to use the app efficiently. This topic is closed now

You are welcome to use the SBB Travel Centre at Zurich Airport.

Working as a ticket inspector, I wish to add a few comments:

The Swiss Half Fare Card is not a pass, it does not grant free travel yet ticket purchases for reduced tickets.
The Swiss Half Fare Card does not appear in the app, you have to show it separately, as part of a PDF document or as a screenshot (QR code). You have to show your physical passport (no copies, no photos of it) whenever you use e-tickets or your Swiss Half Fare Card as e-ticket.

→ When you book tickets, whether as an authenticated user or as a guest, above the list of ticket options, there is a pen icon. Click it, to modify your personal data. There, you can also set the Half Fare setting, the app will then calculate the ticket fares for you based on Half Fare, where applicable. The same you can do for fellow travellers. Go to tab Profile and set up co-passengers. When purchasing tickets, you can choose for whom you want to purchase the tickets.
This setting has to be done manually, even if you purchased the Swiss Half Fare Card; the system does not automatically recognise your card.
