Via the rhb.ch website, we purchased reserved seats for the Bernina Express for 18 September, 2024 from Chur to Tirano and return. At the time the system would not allow us to also purchase the return train tickets and the message said we needed to wait until within 6 months before the date of travel.
We are now trying to buy the rail tickets but it appears the system is trying to get us to buy more reserved seats and not just the train tickets. What is the best way to buy the train tickets to accompany the reserved seats and the cost please. Also should we purchase a Swiss rail day pass?
