I will travel to Switzerland next Saturday and have bought Swiss Travel Card e-tickets through vendor Klook. I received by e-mail the tickets but I am not able to see them in the SBB Mobile app. Is it mandatory to have them printed? I have to do something more upon my arrival and before using the passes? Or can I simply show as I received them in my phone?

Thank you for your request.

You can show the QR code online or you can print out your tickets (in case you cannot display it with your phone). If your offer is not a Swiss Travel Pass flex, you don’t have to activate it.

Normally, you have to go to this site to activate your Pass. https://www.activateyourpass.com/

Then, you should receive the ticket in PDF version or by email.

Hello Jael,

Thank you very much for your swift response. I am afraid the link you refer is not suitable for Swiss Travel Pass, as I tried it and did not worked. I guess I only need to show the e-tickets I have (either on my phone or printed) together an ID document to have nice and quiet trips. But I really want to be 100% sure.

I’m sorry, I misread your message and therefore misunderstood one of the sentences. Normally, the tickets you received, it should be mentioned the offer you bought and a “QR Code” should be displayed on it. If this is the case, it is this code that you have to present at the controls in public transport with an ID / passport. You don’t have to print it out but it can always be better in case of problems with a phone or something.
