Hello we are travelling from London to Zurich Airport on May 15. We would like to make our way to Interlaken that same day by train, stay a couple of nights, and continue our train journey to Geneva on May 17.
Given that we don’t know how quickly we can clear customs at the Zurich airport we are not comfortable buying a fixed schedule train ticket from Zurich to Interlaken. Is there a flexible ticket that can be purchased or would it be better to buy a scheduled train ticket at the ticket office when we are in the station? Would there be a big price difference between the two and does it make a difference to buy well in advance or when we arrive? Also, given that we are also continuing our train travel from Interlaken to Geneva, is there a better ticketing option? For that second part we can work with a fixed schedule ticket.
Thank you.
