If I hold a Swiss Half Fare Card, how can I get a 50% Discount to buy a train ticket from Sbb Mobile?
When you have chosen the desired connection, there is a pen icon next displayed above the connection summary. Click it, tick the ‘Half fare card’ checkbox and save, then the offer is recalculated while applying the reduced fare.
Is it right to choose the Half Fare Travelcard option when purchasing? And how can I link the card on Sbb Mobile?
You cannot link the Swiss Half Fare Card with the SBB Mobile app. This only works if you have purchased the Swiss Half Fare Card from SBB with your login, and you are logged in with this login in the SBB Mobile app. Otherwise, you have to present the Swiss Half Fare Card separately as PDF.
I do not need a login for online purchasing, purchase as a “guest”. But I do bought a ticket through login already.
I suggest using your account to purchase tickets. As a guest, you cannot not cancel tickets, or only for a fee. Using an account, you can cancel any purchase free of charge, saver offers within 30 minutes, other offers before use.
Please kindly note, any e-ticket, as well as the Swiss Half Fare Card, do require your physical passport or ID card (no photos, no copies) upon ticket check.
