Hello,
I am planning to travel from Interlaken to Milan and already have a Swiss travel Pass for 2nd class. While booking the train tickets from the SBB website, under Discount Cards, what should I select? GA Travel Cards 2nd Class. Please help.

Yes, you can select the discount « GA Travelcard 2nd class ». Please note that this line has restrictions due to construction works, the Eurocity trains are sometimes sold out or canceled. Ask again if you cannot find a train, we will give you more details, but we need the date and time of departure.

The answer @Danhiel has given is totally correct.

For completeness (and other readers), you are welcome to choose the GA Travel Card discount option when travelling with the Swiss Travel Pass.

However, this option must not be chosen when travelling with a day pass, for example the Saver Day Pass. In this case, a separate ticket has to be purchased for Milan to Domossola. A through ticket is not possible, as day passes cannot be combined with international offers, this is the sole exclusivity for GA / AG and Swiss Travel Pass holders.

Thank you for responding. I am planning to travel in the 1st week of June to Milan. Do you think it’s wise to book the tickets now or can it be booked later.

Presly Yes, it is better to book now. You are lucky, the line will be closed on June 9th and only replacement buses run later.

On this line, tickets are refundable with a fee of 20% or free exchangeable, but trains are often sold out days in advance.

RolandP Your are right, but it is regrettable that through tickets are not available. You must really be an expert to find the best solution. A Saver Day Pass and a ticket Domodossola - Milano could be cheaper as any other Supersaver offer and you can use every train (Trenitalia BASE tickets are exchangeable).
