As I’m holding a Swiss pass, does it mean I only hv to purchase ticket from Feldkirch to Buchs while the segment from Buchs to Zurich has already covered by the pass free-of-charge?

Thank you for your request.

I assume that you mean the Swiss Travel Pass or another subscription (Swiss Pass is only a carrier medium, no discount).
Talk about the Swiss Travel Pass: The subscription is only valid up to the Swiss border. You can select the GA discount when you buy your ticket and travel directly to Zurich. Your way is also accepted.

Both options are correct.

However we recomend to purchase one ticket for the whole stretch from Feldkirch to Zurich to make sure also have a seat reservation for the entire trip. The Swiss Travel Pass discount will be calculated from the border.

The dodded line on the validity map of the Swiss Travel Pass mean that you have a 50% reduction on that line. You can enter the Half Fare Travelcard discount when you buy your ticket from Geneva to Annemasse.

Thank you ZoeS for your prompt. You are right. I’m referring to Swiss Travel Pass. From the validity map, I cannot find that there is discount for the train route from Feldkirch to Buchs. If I ride on the direct EC train from Feldkirch to Zurich, I could either -

(a) buy a ticket from Feldkirch to Buchs at full fare, and hold the Swiss Travel Pass to continue the journey from Buchs to Zurich; or

(b) buy a ticket from Feldkirch to Zurich at discount rate (because I’m holding Swiss Travel Pass?) by choosing GA ticket? Btw, I’m not sure if GA discount is the same as Swiss Travel Pass.

Secondly, may I further enquire the route from Geneva train station to Annemasse. As I see from the Swiss Travel Pass validity map, the said route is in dotted line. Does it mean I can buy the ticket at 50% reduction rate on SBB? If so, how can I enjoy the discount as I cannot find any discount option for “Swiss Travel Pass” on the SBB app?
