My question about a ticket from Lugano to Varese

I bought online a ticket from Lugano to Varese but my pdf ticket includes the next information:

Arcobaleno Transfrontaliera Individual Ticket
Cantello Gaggiolo
Varese
Zones 100 110 140 150
In Italy only valid on regional trains.
Your choice:
Lugano
via Mendrisio - Cantello Gaggiolo
Varese

Why is my ticket from Cantello Gaggiolo although “Your choice” is from Lugano?
I was expecting to see that my ticket would be from Lugano.

In Switzerland, this ticket is not a point-to-point ticket, but you can use it in designated zones for all public transport (train, bus). In your case, you have 4 zones:

100 110 140 150

For example zone 100 is the zone of Lugano. You can find a map of the zones here:

Please note also the limited period of validity (date and time) of this ticket.
