Question about Companion Ticket

Hello,
I’m (under 25 years old) going to Switzerland this summer with my friend. If I buy an Swiss Travel Pass Youth for 4 days, can my friend (also under 25) use the companion ticket to tag along. And do we have to buy the companion ticket one by one for each day we stay in Switzerland?

The companion ticket is a temporary offer; its validity is limited, until 16 May 2024.

If you are both under 25 years, you could purchase the Friends Day Pass Youth and travel together for a total of CHF 80 per day.

Sorry for the wording, we will go to Switzerland from 11 to 15 May 2024 so the offer is still valid. What I wanted to ask was, will my Swiss Travel Pass Youth allow my friend to use the Companion Pass for those 4 days? And if yes do we have to buy the companion ticket one by one for each day?
