I will be in Switzerland for a month in June 2023 and commuting between Zurich and Bern both ways at the beginning and end of my stay. My base for the 4 weeks shall be in Bern. Apart from that, I want to travel to Titlis, Matterhorn, Zermat-Gornergrat, Montreaux-Insterlaen Ost on Goldenpass express over the 4 weekends. Small day trips within Bern and to surrounding villages can be made on remaining days. I will also need to use the trains within Zurich for a day. Is a Bern local tram pass and a Half Fare pass more useful than a Swiss pass since the Swiss pass does not seem to have an option for more than 15 days? Or shall I use the Swiss pass for 8 days and buy individual tickets for remaining days? I shall be using university accommodation in Inselspital, will I get a local travel pass from there?
