Hello rajdeep_saha
Well, Supersaver tickets are only valid on a certain connection. If you miss it, the tickets are unusable and lost. Any flexibility is gone with this ticket.
What if you really like Lucerne and you want to stay there a little longer? What if the weather is bad, and you wish to return earlier. All not possible with a Supersaver ticket.
Point-to-point tickets are valid for 1 ride from Zurich to Lucerne, no matter the time. They are more costly because they give you full flexibility.
Our trains have free-seating, this is why not seats are indicated, and seat reservations are not necessary.
Yes, if you book as a guest, you will have to pay CHF 10 for each refund request as your request has to be treated manually and labour work in Switzerland is costly. You should create an account if you purchase tickets more often.
For children, there is the Day Pass for Children for CHF 19.
Another advice? If money is a concern, and you want to realise a budget trip, you should not stay in Zurich, the most expensive city in our country. Also, if you will stay a few days in our country, a travel pass or the Swiss Half Fare Card would make sense; for the children, the Swiss Family Card or the Junior Card. My advice: plan your trip first, and as a last step, decide on the tickets; you can save a lot of money.
Kind regards,
Roland
