I am Malaysian.

1) Am I eligible to purchase Swiss travel Pass for 6 days or only locals able to purcahse?

2) With that pass can I travel from Zurich to Brig or I need additional pass to travel?

3) do IC8 train need seat reservation?

Yes, you can buy the Swiss Travel Pass. You can find all the information here: sbb.ch/leisure-holidays

See the map of validity under the downloads. You can travel to Brig by train with this pass.

In Switzerland we have no obligation to reserve seats (except Panorama Express trains). This means that you can sit wherever you want with a valid ticket/pass (in the right class, of course.)

Thanks Zoes. In that case can I say with Swiss Pass on hand, i actually no need reserve any seat in SBB train except for those train start with"R"?

Because i was trying to purchase ticket from Zermatt to Iseltwald,Dorfplatz in SBB it shows me CHF 39.60 with easy drive; 1st class; with half-fare travelcard and supersaver ticket only.

So my doubt is should i really need purchase anymore SBB ticket although i already have Swiss pass?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, you do not have to reserve seats. Except in panorama trains that require reservations, which are then marked with “R” in the legend.

Do you mean the Swiss Travel Pass? If you have a Swiss Travel Pass you don’t need to buy anymore ticket.
