Good evening. I tried the EasyRide function for the first time today, and ran into difficulty. After selecting an incorrect train, upon my attempt to double-back to my intended station, I forgot to re-initialize the new EasyRide function. This was a sincere oversight using a new (to me) feature while traveling with my 2 year old son. My EasyRide transaction records will verify that 1) this was my first time ever using this function 2) show that I had engaged this EasyRide to and from my correct destinations, in a sincere effort to pay for my fare, but mistakenly not for the corrective train when I boarded the wrong one.
I was charged 90 CHF for this mistake, and would like to seek an appeal or a first time forgiveness exception. I attempted to describe the circumstances to the agent, who seemed frustrated that I did not speak German and immediately fined me, leading me to believe I had been treated poorly as a result of being a new resident of Switzerland and for being a non-German speaking resident.
My apologies, but I do not have the ticket ID number. It must be associated with my account in some fashion, as the agent verified my address by looking at my ID and looking up my account. Lacking this ticket number, I was unable to use the internet portal to seek this appeal. How might I move forward with my request?
