Hello.
We are SEUNGRYEOL and TAEGYEONg

we purchased two tickets at SBB.ch yesterday
.
But, we recognized we have 6 minutes to transport from platform 2 to platform 10 in Luzern after we bought tickets.

This is our first time traveling by train in Switzerland.
So.. We concern we won’t get to the platform 10 on time.

So we want to cancel our tickets and purchase tickets at other time table.

Please help us refund our tickets.
We have tried to refund our tickets on the Internet, But our tickets aren’t being verified.

What kind of tickets did you buy? Supersaver or full price tickets? Is it an international trip?

There are thousands of Koreans that visit our country every year, and they successfully use our public transport system.

The change is perfectly doable within that timeframe, it would not have been sold otherwise. Lucerne is a compact station; there is even an underpass that takes you from platform 2 right to any other platform.

Moodebeeth19 If you have a full price ticket, you can take every train during the period of validity of the ticket. I you need more help, you could publish an image of the ticket, but mask personal informations (name, QR code).

This is our tickets overview.
Our tickets are a save days ticket which can use from Spiez to Chiasso.
Could we use the train at other time?

Moodebeeth19 If you have a Saver Day Pass, you can use every other train in Switzerland until Chiasso (the border station with Italy).

After Chiasso, it is more complicated. You can also use every train, but you must make an online check-in. You have two tickets for every passenger: the first one between Spiez and Chiasso and a second one between Chiasso and Milan.

To make the check-in, I suggest to install the mobile app of Trenitalia on your smartphone. The second ticket has a numeric 10-digit code. You can import the ticket in the app with this code and your email-address. If you are on time (15:02 from Lugano, 15:31 from Chiasso), simply make the check-in when leaving Lugano. If you miss the connection in Lucerne and you are late (probably 16:02 from Lugano, 16:31 from Chiasso), select the new timetable from Chiasso to Milan in Trenitalia app and make the check-in.

Looking at your ticket these are normal tickets, good for any train on the route. The price you paid would have been the same, had you bought them at the ticket office, and had you done that you would have gotten a paper ticket, and thus avoided the issue with the Trenitalia Check In…

Anyway, even with a saver ticket, if a train is delayed and you miss your connection you can take the next one.

Krist The only way to avoid the check-in between Chiasso and Milan is to buy two separate tickets: one until Lugano or Chiasso and the second one for Italy as Arcobaleno Transfrontaliero ticket, but these tickets are only valid 4 hours. I hope that they offer this solution at the ticket offices.

Arcobaleno Transfrontaliero tickets cannot be included in a trip Spiez - Milan, the station of departure must be in Tessin.

@Moodebeeth19 First of all, those 6 minutes transfer time are in Bern, not Luzern. Those 6 minutes are also feasable in Bern, if the first train is not delayed.

You might however prefer the earlier EC connection departing Spiez at 09:54 which involves the same last RE80 Lugano-Milano train arr. 16:17. With that connection, instead of changing trains twice in Bern and Luzern, you’d have to change only once in Olten (a smaller yet busy “hub” station) with 25 minutes transfer time. At this time of the day, this would easily allow you to grab some food and drinks for lunch around the station instead of having to rely only on the (rather expensive) dining car.
Actually there’s a “Coop” supermarket right in the Olten station building, which based on its location should also have a decent selection of cold and hot takeaway food + cooled drinks.
