johnnydolf Hi, We will have guests in the weekend and we planed to do a swiss trip by train. My question is the following: if we go to Italy with SBB train and come back with SBB train the day ticket is valid in Italy or is valid only in Switzerland? Many thanks!

Krist The trains to Italy are only SBB trains till the border station (depending on the route that is Domodossola or Chiasso). Beyond the border station they become Trenitalia trains, and Trenitalia fares and rules apply.
