Interlaken to Venice Train Booking

Hello - We are planning to Travel from Interlaken to Venice. We have a Swiss Travel pass.

But we are a bit confused as to how should we buy the tickets and reserve the seats for the trains going to Venice..

Any help will highly appreciated as to how should we book it. Can we book online from Domodossola to Venice ( provided we stay at same seats) or should we buy in person at Interlaken station?

First look up the schedule of the trains you want to take. You can do that on www.sbb.ch. Look up the details of the trains, and see when your selected departure calls at Domodossola. Then just book the Domodossola - Venice section on www.trenitalia.com (paying attention that you book the right train…)

Then just travel, and enjoy.

May it is easier for you to book your journey at Travelcenter in Interlaken or by phone at SBB Contactcenter.
I suggest you to to travel on EC 35 from Brig to Venice.
Interlaken West - Spiez - Brig - Eurocity 35 - Venezia.

So you are suggesting to do this at the travel center at Interlaken. Is this the rate with the swiss travel pass?
I am considering taking this train -

7:34 am (RE9) - Interlaken West - Speiz
Transfer at Spiez
8:05 (EC 51) Spiez - Milano Centrale
Transfer
11:45 (FR9723) - venezia S. Lucia

Andrew1987 I suggest to book in advance if you want to be sure to find a seat in the selected relation. The trains are often sold out on this line. You are lucky, the line will close two days later on June 9th.

Can you book online with the SBB pass? I already have the fare covered to Domodossola, but the website is asking me to pay for the trip from Interlaken to Domodossola. How do you book trains that will take into account the SBB pass?

Hi,

If you have a swiss travel pass you just need to specify that as GA Travel card at passenger entry screen under discount and it will automatically be discounted.
