How to apply the Swiss Travel Pass to TGV tickets Paris - Zurich ?

Hello,

I’m trying to book TGV tickets for my family from Paris to Zurich this summer. I have already purchased the Swiss Travel Passes for my family, and it should cover the Swiss portion of the journey (Basel - Zurich). However, when I try to book the tickets on TGV/SBB, there’s no option to select the Swiss Travel Pass as a discount so that I don’t have to pay for the Swiss portion.
If I booked tickets for Paris - Basel with the seats reserved, how do I reserve the same seats for the Basel - Zurich portion so my family doesn’t have to change seats or change trains in Basel?

Thank you for your message.

The Swiss Travel Pass is not a subscription and therefore cannot be selected in the discount selection. The international tickets must be purchased from or to the border. Seat reservation in TGV for the route within Switzerland is possible only at the SBB counter. However, you will not receive the same seats and will pay an additional fee of CHF 5.00 per person. You can therefore also remain seated in the seats reserved for the international Route if they are not reserved by other persons for the route within Switzerland.
