Luzern to Baveno

I am trying to purchase tickets from Luzern to Baveno for Sept 11, 2024. The SBB app gives me different route options with connections Luzern - ArthGoldau -Lugano - Gallarate - Baveno.
or Luzern - Bern - Brig - Domodossola - Baveno
But when I try to purchase it says we are ’unable to provide a suitable offer for your chosen connection.

is error message due to the engineering work?
If so, do we know when this restriction will be lifted and when we can expect to purchase tickets for these routes?

also I have seen dates that the engineering work will complete by Sept 8th. Is this date certain or could it go longer?

The booking is not yet open for this connections.

Nobody books international train tickets that far in advance. In addition, the Italians will have a timetable change on 9 June. This explains why certain connections are still missing, or are offered but not yet bookable.

The reopening of the Gotthard Basetunnel for August 2024 is not yet confirned. Its reopening will also have an impact on the further planning.

Simply try again mid of June. Trenitalia.com is another possible booking platform for trips to Italy.
