Idea: Why does SBB not use Tapping / Twint approach?

I want to ask you why does SBB not add to the old stamp card which is available on every station a simple just tap and go ticket system?
Or even add it into the train?

This whole easy ride is ok but supper annoying if its not working and too complicated.
Twint/ Apple Pay/ Google Pay is more common to have on the phone.
So if someone wants to go somewhere this person checks in. And leaving train station checks out?

The advantage of easyride versus the systems used in the UK and NL is that you need a lot of very expensive hardware. Easyride is a pure software solution. That is why in the UK they still do not have “tap and go” in the whole country, more than 10 years after they started with it…

Also the problem (and you see that for example in the Netherlands) is that there are then sometimes queues at the gates/poles and that would not go down well here.
