The companion ticket for the GA is a marketing offer. It is only given to customers who have that have actively expressed their interest and given their consent to receive personalised marketing advertisings and offers from SBB. The consent is required by law.
Please see an SBB travel office or call the SBB Contact Center at 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min, waiting times may occur) to change your marketing settings.
It can also be done via the SBB Mobile app: Profile > Offers & advertisings: Personalised offers.
However, when doing so, the companion ticket is not automatically distributed.
