NON FLEX STANDARD - CAN IT BE REFUNDED?

Hi,
I booked a non-flex standard ticket from Basel to Paris for two adults and two kids (5 and 8). Our travel plans changed and would like to cancel this train reservation. It seems not possible to get refund on Non Felx Standard tickets…has anyone has experience requesting for refund successfully?

I do not want to submit refund request and lose the entire value rather I would like to hold the ticket and see if I can travel on travel date.

A non-flex ticket is, as per description, a ticket that does not offer any flexibility. Thus, it is neither changeable nor refundable. Similar with airfares, for this you would have been required to purchase a regular ticket and not a saver ticket.

Furthermore, international tickets (if changeable/refundable) can only be changed/refunded by calling SBB or by seeing an agent in an SBB travel office, not through the web.
