Debrc Hello, We have 2 Swiss Half Fare card and 2 family card for our kids. Are these eligible while booking the ticket from Paris to Zurich? If yes, please share the the information if we get the discount when we book train tickets from Paris to Zurich from SBB CH or Euro Rail etc
Limeuhu12 Hello Debrc Please check offers Zürich to Paris at ticketshop SNCF connect. You will find flexible offers and non flexible offers, but no reduction with swiss half fare card. When you buy a ticket from Basel SBB instead if Zürich, might be that fares are more expensive. Kind regards Christoph
RolandP Hello Debrc No. You could purchase a ticket to Basel SBB, to make use of your Swiss Half Fare Card and the Swiss Family Card. However, I bet that a through ticket Paris to Zurich HB is cheaper than splitting the tickets Paris to Basel SBB / Basel SBB to Zurich HB. Don’t purchase from Rail Europe, always book with the railways directly. Kind regards, Roland
Krist Book Paris to Zurich on www.sbb.ch, and indicate that you have the Half Fare Card, and that the children have the Junior Card. You will get some reduction, but not much, as most of the trip is on the French Railways’ network.
