Swiss Travel Pass - Zermatt to Como

Hello! I purchased the Swiss travel pass 1st class for July. One day we I’ll need to travel from Zermatt (near Riffealp station) to Lake Como.

Do I need to make the reservation in advance? I think the journey would be partially on the Glacier Express so I think I need to reserve that in advance. Since it’s such a long journey want to make sure I can have reliable travel on that day. Thank you!

We’ve already replied via Messenger. Reservations for the Glacier Express are obligatory. It must be made under the link here : https://www.glacierexpress.ch/en/

The trip for this route takes more than 12 hours. In your request, you mention “Riffelalp” and “Como”, please note the validity radius of your Swiss Travel Pass. This ticket is not valid between Zermatt and Riffelalp or Chiasso and Como.
