The SMS short number 222 was actually used by SBB until end of 2014(!) for timetable queries, now it’s 4411. The number 222 has been set to blocked/inactive at Sunrise (= ex diAx tied with SBB IT) according to Swisscom.
Today, the number 222 is active at Salt (= ex Orange) and registered to a company named Glue Data in Bern. It is however quite unlikely that Glue Data have sent that apparently bogus SMS message themselves. More likely the number has been spoofed by someone else with the fraudulent intention to make the message appear being sent by SBB.
Nevertheless the SBB legal department might be interested to inquire at Salt, whether they’re implementing sufficient technical or organisational measures (TOM’s) in order to prevent such spoofing of SMS short numbers (formerly) used by SBB. I’m not the expert with phone/SMS technology, but such measures do exist with E-Mail, like DMARC, SPF and DKIM records in the DNS.
