Unable to link my customer number to an account

Hi!
I’ve created an account on SBB and now I have a SwizzPass customer number that I want to link, but I am getting an error “Please check your entries.” Everything is correct, but I can’t get passed this error.
I was previously added as a co-passenger to another user’s account, but I was removed from there. It still errors like this.
Anyone has any idea on how to fix this?

What is a SwizzPass, please?

Are you a tourist or a resident? Did you purchase the Swiss Travel Pass by any chance? If yes, did you purchase the Swiss Travel Pass AFTER you created the customer account? If yes, then, you can’t link your Swiss Travel Pass.

I had a typo in my message, indeed I got a SwissPass as resident. And I created the account after I got the SwissPass.
So I cannot link it into SBB mobile?
What’s the reasoning behind?

I see. Sorry for assuming you were a tourist. 99% of the questions in the English speaking forum concern the Swiss Travel Pass as they are asked from tourists. And they are often confused thinking SwissPass and Swiss Travel Pass is the same.

Yes, you can certainly link the resident’s SwissPass. For this you need the red plastic card that is sent to you about 10 days after you have purchased the abonnement. Once you got the card, you can link it with the SBB Mobile app, in tab Tickets & Travelcards. Please let me know if you need help with it, but I think it is self-explanatory.

Be reminded that you have to carry your red plastic card with you, although you will use the SBB Mobile app. Ticket inspectors can ask you anytime for the red plastic card, for security reasons. The SBB Mobile app is only valid in combination with the red plastic card.
