How to get discounts for activities using the Swiss Travel Pass

Hello,

We will be arriving in Zurich closer to the end of June and have already purchased the Swiss Travel Pass. How do I get discounts with the pass to places like the Lindt Chocolate factory tour?

This depends on the museum or activity. Please see the respective websites.

For some, you get free admission, for others you must present your Swiss Travel Pass to the cashier in exchange for a ticket.

What concerns Lindt & Sprüngli, I have no information. I asked them via e-mail as there is zero information on that on their website. What concerns Lindt & Sprüngli: book in advance, they are often sold out for days. I will be back with news as soon as available.

Lindt & Sprüngli is not offering any discount with the STP.

For Pilatus, or for any excursion you plan to take, I suggest going to the SBB Travel Center, for example at Lucerne train station. The people there can issue the correct reduced tickets when you present the Swiss Travel Pass. Or go to the cashier at the cable car base station and present your STP. They will know about it. You can also often find information on the operator’s website, whether and how the STP is accepted.
