Questions about train exchange in Samedan

In September, i will be travelling from Pontresina to St. Moritz via Samedan in the very early morning in order to catch the Glacier express at 0702.

According to the search result, i need to take the train leaving from Pontresina at 0542 and arriving Samedan at 0548. After that, i need to change the train in Samedan from Platform 3 to Platform 5 within 1 mins as the train will be leaving Samedan at 0549 to St. Moritz. May i know if it is possible to change within 1 min from Platform 3 to Platform 5?

The planner does not propose impossible schedules. But why don’t you board the Glacier Express in Samedan in stead? The glacier express stops there at 7:15, and in order to get there you take the train in Pontresina at 7:02.

Always plan train travel end to end, do not make a priori assumptions about the route. So in your case you would for example plan Pontresina - Zermatt, not Pontresina st. Moritz separately.
