What is the benefit of Half Tax Plus?

Does anyone else agree that this is completely ridiculous that you have to buy a Half Tax card along with this? Why call it Half Tax Plus?

I also do not remember any communications at check out to remind that we would need to buy a separate one.

There is literally no benefit in my Half Tax now, other than about 10CHF saving.

To use the Half Fare Card PLUS, you are not required to purchase the Half Fare Card, although it makes sense, from a cost perspective.

RolandP Thanks Roland, but why is it not called Full-Fare Plus 1000 then? I think this is very misleading.

I think it’s quite simple, no reason for overcomplicating things:

With the Half Tax, you can save some money (approx. 50%)
With the Half Tax Plus, you can save some additional money (up to additional 20-30% on half fare prices)
