Swiss pass

im planning a trip in July and I was wondering which pass would be the most suitable and if I need a Swiss pass at all my trip starts in Zurich travelling to lucerne in which I will go to frackmuntegg then I will be going to Interlaken visiting harder kulm and from Interlaken I am planning a number of day trips to Grindelwald lauterbrunnen and Oeschinese returning to Zurich at the end of my trip. From what I have looked at so far the pass does not seem worth it to just cover the train rides but my trip involves a series of gondolas which would be useful to get the 50% discount. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you!

How many days does your trip include in total?

Also, I always wonder why some tourists call it Swiss Pass while, I believe, the ticket you envision is the Swiss Travel Pass, eh?

If you are unsure what pass, as a general advice, the Swiss Half Fare Card plus individual half fare tickets, or the Saver Day Pass for longer trips, are never wrong.

In your case, the Swiss Half Fare Card in combination with the Berner Oberland Pass could offer great value. Or, the Swiss Half Fare Card and the Jungfrau Pass. Have you had a look at them?

Also, why did you choose Interlaken as a base?
