Saver Day pass

Hi, I will be taking the Bernina express from Tirano to Chur and then travel to Zurich from Chur. I am trying to find if I could use the saver day pass. Bernina express allows me to use the saver day pass. Where as the train from Chur to ZUrich HB shows only Half Fare card as discount, how do I use my saver day pass and book the ticket?

The Saver Day Pass is your ticket.
It is a ticket that allows travel at will on the entire Swiss public transit network for a day. With it you can hop on and off the public transport services as you like.

Simply take any train from Chur to Zurich HB, get on that train, find a free seat and have a ride.

RolandP thank you! One more question, I am trying to use my international travel visa credits cards to purchase on SBB site. None of credit cards are working. Is there restriction to use credit cards issued by an USA bank?

For the majority of European webshops, including the one from SBB, you must have 3D Secure ID activated. This is an additional security layer also known as 2FA authentication. Talk to your card issuer to know if your card has it activated.

As for the purchase of the Swiss Half Fare Card, you could also purchase it from the STC, the Switzerland Travel Center, a travel agency run by SBB and Switzerland tourism. Their webshop is less restrictive what concerns the acceptance of credit cards. However, they do not sell other tickets.

same problem here, the 3D secure transaction goes successfully through on the banking app, but the sbb homepage says it was declined, in the end no transaction takes place. My card has 3d secure enabled
