Yes, a regular Point-to-point ticket (in German: Streckenbillett), allows you to take as many intermediate stops as you want. You must have completed the journey before the ticket’s validity end date / time, and you can only travel in the same direction, no back tracking.
On the contrary, the Supersaver ticket which is only valid for the trains (services) indicated on the ticket; you must adhere to the itineray given.
