Hello Caxuemai82
While purchasing the Swiss Half Fare Card, you have to enter your kids as well. When entering their date of birth, the ticketing system will ask you whether you wish to add the complimentary Swiss Family Card; tick the checkbox to add it.
However, since ticket reservation comes with the card, I would like to know how I can reserve for the kids as well.
In Switzerland, train tickets never come with a seat reservation. You have to purchase them separately where possible.
Consequently, when purchasing tickets, you simply purchase the tickets for the adults and ignore the kids. The Swiss Family Card is their ticket while travelling together with at least one parent. If the children travel alone, then they need a Point-to-point ticket at half fare or the Day Pass for Children.
Read our blog on seat reservations to understand how it works on Swiss trains:

Please let us know if you have got more queries.
