Did you purchase the Swiss Half Fare Cards in one purchase attempt? Or did you purchase one by one? If you purchased them in one attempt, you should see yours, and when you swipe your code to the left, you should be able to see hers.
You can purchase discounted tickets already in advance, even though the SHFC is not yet active. The ticketing system does not check if you are eligible to use Half Fare, this is the only responsibility of the ticket inspector on board. There, you have to show the SHFC together with your tickets, and a physical passport or ID card (physical: paper copies or images on smartphones of it are not accepted).
