You may ask as many questions as you have, that’s the purpose of this forum: to answer questions. And if you ask the questions in such a polite manner, you are more than welcome to ask 🙂
In Switzerland, a ticket and a seat reservation are two different things.
There is actually no need to book a seat, our trains are free seating. And, if you still want to reserve a seat, you can book it without having a ticket yet because in our country, you purchase a ticket for a route and not for a train (except for Supersaver tickets).
