Hello,
I am trying to book a leisure service for Lindt Home of Chocolate with public transit included for our trip this June and I have some few inquiries regarding the City-Ticket Railaway. Here is the booking summary below:
Luzern <-, -> Kilchberg ZH, Lindt & Sprüngli
via Thalwil2nd class
- 1× City-Ticket RailAway, Half-Fare Travelcard
- In addition to the journey between the selected place of departure and the destination, the City-Ticket also includes a Day Pass for local traffic (tram, bus, S-Bahn) at the place of departure and/or the destination.
- Period of validity: 1 calendar day until 05:00 a.m. the following day.
Q1: As we are also going around Zurich on that day, may I know if the included City-Ticket also covers free travel for local traffic (tram, bus, S-Bahn) in the general Zurich area?
Q2: For our return trip to Luzern, we can take any train back to Luzern as long as we ride in the Kilchberg ZH station right?
Q3: Do you think this is a good travel option for a day trip around Zurich or should we just book the Luzern <-, -> Zurich HB?
Thank you in advance for your response!
