Small typo in name while booking ticket

Hi - While booking a ticket on the app, I have inadvertently misspelled the name of a co-passenger Jayant Singh as ‘Jaynt’ Singh. There is an ‘a’ missing in the first name. Do I need to re-book the ticket? Thanks!

No, that’s fine given the date of birth is also correct.

Everybody needs their physical passport upon ticket check.

Hi Roland, thanks for your reply! I was actually able to refund the ticket since I discovered the error pretty quickly.

I had another question. One of my co-passengers mentioned the wrong date of birth while booking the ticket. Is it possible to change that or do I need to get another ticket? I don’t know why this is happening with me today ☹️

Even an error in the date of birth is not a problem if the names do match those in the passport.

What would be critical if you had entered the wrong year of birth which potentially could lead to discounts for which the person is not entitled (e.g. a ticket for Youth while the person would require an Adult ticket).
