You are comparing apples and oranges.

One is an extension ticket (SBB Mobile App), the other is a local network ticket.

Maybe, but the OPs question is still a valid one in my humble opinion:
Why is the SBB Mobile App not also suggesting the cheaper ZVV „Lokalnetz“ ticket for 2.40 as zone 110 extension into zone 121?

Glattpark is the zone 110/121 border station. For a normal Glattpark - Unterriet single itinerary, the SBB Mobile App is suggesting the correct ZVV Lokalnetz ticket for 2.40, not the 1-2 zone ticket for 3.20. And I’d imagine that EasyRide would also charge the cheaper 2.40 ticket for the entire itinerary.

Of course, the OP’s question is a valid one.

However, the Lokalnetz definition is a very complex thing, especially when it comes to combination with zones. I assume the SBB Mobile App cannot cope with it, although I was to believe that the SBB Mobile App and the ZVV App use the same ticketing system backend.

The SBB Mobile App takes into account the entire journey, while the ZVV app calculates the fare from Lindberghplatz. If I enter Lindberghplatz in the SBB Mobile app, I also get a Lokalnetz ticket.

I have to ask a specialist.
