from Zermatt to Milano Centrale

I am planning to travel on the 06:13 RE42 train from Zermatt to Milano Centrale on September 19. I have heard that the section between Visp and Tasch is being operated by a replacement bus service. Could you please confirm if this section will still be under construction until September? If not, I would like to know if I will be able to catch the train from Brig Bahnhofplatz to Domodossola, which departs at 07:44, given that the transfer time is only 7 minutes with the replacement bus service.

Additionally, if I purchase a ticket for the entire route and encounter delays that prevent me from boarding the intended train, what options would be available to me?

Xaufaxee82 It is too early to plan your trip in September, the timetables of the Eurocity between Brig and Milano Centrale are currently not published and the tickets are not available.

If you book a Supersaver Ticket, you have the timetable on your ticket and you must take the selected trains/buses. If you have a connection time of 7 minutes in Brig, it means that you have enough time to change. If you miss the connecting train due to a delay, you can take the next available train free of charge, but you should contact a ticket office to get a new reservation.

If you have another connection in Milano Centrale, it is preferable to book the entire trip until the final destination in one transaction.
