SBB Tirano-Lugano: Eurail pass?

I could not tell if this trip is covered by my Eurail Pass. Looking at Eurail website, it appears that it is!
I bought tickets for 52.40 CHF. How can I get that money back from SBB?
Also, our travel companions have the Swiss Travel Pass.
Do any of us need reservations?

The Eurail Passes for Switzerland are valid on the direct buses Tirano - Lugano. You can find the validity map here:

I think that you bought tickets for the train and not for the direct bus. To get a refund, call the Contact Center of the SBB with this number:

+41 51 225 78 56 (24/7, waiting times may occur)

Reservations for the direct buses are mandatory (16 CHF) and can be made here:

Choose “Tirano, Stazione” as departure, not “Tirano”.

The early BE is sold-out for our date. We had to take the later train which arrives too late for the bus. Thus, we have to take the train through Italy.

Cowboycork If you have an Eurail Global Pass, it is also valid for the train in Italy. If you have have an Eurail Pass valid only in Switzerland, keep your train tickets for Italy.
