Buying 1/2 Fare Travel Card from Australia

Hey 👋

I’m travelling to Switzerland on 10 July and will need to travel on public transport. I have downloaded and set up the SBB App and now need to purchase a ½ Fare Travel Card.
I have tried purchasing the card online, but it come up with an error. Am I not able to purchase the ½ Fare Card while I am currently in Australia?

It could be a temporary problem. I suggest to try later or to buy the card on sbb.ch:

Luke99 I have another idea. When you defined the passenger, you indicated perhaps that you have already a Half Fare Travelcard. It were too early, you have currently no travelcard and you want to buy one.

Another two hints:

enter your names all in full capital letters.
select the country of residence from the drop down menu, e.g. Australia; then go again into that menu, choose another country, and again, choose your original country, than save all data. Sometimes the country of residence is not correctly taken with the first attempt.
