Direct train from Geneva —> Montreux (direction Brig)

The trains leaving from Geneva to Brig have been cancelled ( do not exist anymore). This is really unfortunate and annoying because now I don’t have a direct train to go to work and I’m forced to always switch in Lausanne. I use to take the train from Genève Cornavin at 7:10, 8:10 or 9:10, unfortunately SBB have taken off this train connection, it would take only 1hr to get from Geneva to Montreux and now it takes almost 1hr30 mins.

Will the direct train from Geneva —> Brig come back soon ? As it was really convenient also for people coming from the airport and wanting to go to Montreux, Aigle, Martigny, Sion, Sierre & Brig. These people with their suitcases can have a direct train going home instead of having to change in Lausanne and creating a mess in an already busy train station.

Thank you for taking my proposal on bringing these trains leaving Geneva at X:10 back.

In the timetable, I do see a RE33 leaving Geneva every hour at 0x:20 and an IR90 leaving at 0x:29. Both do stop in Montreux about 1:12 h later without any transfer in Lausanne.
Aren’t they a viable alternative?

The issue is actually with the IR90 normally it gets from Lausanne to Geneva twice an hour at xx:13 and xx:43. On the way from Geneva to Lausanne at xx:10 and xx:42. Since Monday 1st of July, the departures at xx:13 from Lausanne and xx:10 from Geneva have simply disappeared. There have been no informations whatsoever regarding this change, neither on the website nor on the app. On the website the IR90 is actually still shown to have all 4 departures on the website (https://network.sbb.ch/en/line/IR90). Is this because of school holidays and as of when will the xx:10 and xx:13 squedules be reinstated?
