Geborue23 Train -Swiss Travel Pass I would to travel from Trier, Germany to Zermatt, Switzerland by train in early September. Is the Swiss Travel Pass discount valid for any part of the journey since this is originating outside Switzerland. Thank you.
RedBaron Geborue23 The (activated) => Swiss Travel Pass is your ticket entitling for free(!) train travel on Swiss territory between Basel SBB and Zermatt. But you’ll need some separate regular DB ticket for the Trier - Basel SBB German part, as DB doesn’t get any cent from the STP sales.
