Swiss family card addition after purchase

I bought my half fare card and didn’t realize I had to add my children at the time of purchase to get the Swiss family pass for them. How do I add the Swiss family pass after I have already purchased the half fare card? Can I do this remotely/electronically? Or do I need to do this a ticket office? I’m traveling from Italy to Switzerland and the first stop will be in Birg. What if I am asked for tickets on the train from Italy to Brig? Thanks

It is not possible to add the Swiss Family Card electronically retrospectively.

Please purchase a half fare point-to-point ticket or a Children Day Pass (what ever costs less than CHF 19) from Domodossola to Brig, or from Italy to Brig. There, you can get the Swiss Family Card as a paper ticket, free of charge.

From your destination in Italy to Domodossola you must anyway purchase a ticket for your child, the Swiss Travel Pass / Swiss Half Fare Card would only be valid from Domodossola.

Thank you for your response. I will purchase the point to point or super saver tickets for my 2 children for the train ride from domodossola to brig. My husband and I have the berner overland pass that allows us to ride free on the same train.
