Hello,
I bought the Saver Day Pass for my friend for 11.8.2024 for the price of 66.00/First Class, with this purchase price, does she need to have a valid demi-tarif card/half fare travel card at the time she uses this ticket?
Below is what is written on the ticket:
'Saver Day Pass - 1. Class, Reduced fare ½ - CHF 66.00
Valid: 11.08.2024 00:00 - 12.08.2024 05:00
The Saver Day Pass is valid for travel on GA Travelcard area routes in the relevant class. No exchange. No refunds.'

Yes, the (Swiss) Half Fare Card is needed; the ticket is at reduced fare, see the ‘½’ notation.

My friend, in fact, doesn’t have demi-tarif/half fare travel card. Now I bought this ticket for her (ticket for 11.8.2024 for the price of 66.00/First Class). What’s the best solution for this situation?
- can I cancel this ticket and have the reimbursement? And buy another First Class Day Pass ticket (without half fare travel card) for the same day?
