How to add swisspass to garmin watch

I would love to add my swisspass to my garmin smart watch in order not to have to search for my wallet or phone when being controlled in the train.

As garmin offers it’s own payment service, the watches are NFC compatible, so it should technically possible to implement such a solution. It is also possible to create dedicated apps for the watch.

Are there any plans to offer such a feature going forward?

The same question has recently been asked in our German-speaking community. My colleague @ZoeS replied the following:

No, it is currently not possible to integrate the SwissPass into a watch. However, this function is already being tested. Thank you for your patience.

No, the Swiss Pass Mobile won’t support any watches, there are no such plans.
