To find a timetable without the Glacier Express, you should activate the “via” option in the advanced search (click on the three horizontal stripes right of the departure date and time).
Introduce later “Dieni”, “Realp” and “Randa” as via (Pontresina - Dieni - Realp - Randa - Zermatt). The Glacier Express doesn’t stop at these stations, it cannot be selected.
You will find connections, for example a departure from Pontresina at 8:02 via Samedan - Reichenau-Tamins - Disentis/Mustér - Andermatt - Visp, arrival in Zermatt at 16:14. No reservations are required for these trains, but you have to change five times.
The same trains are available one hour or two hours later, you could also make a stopover.
