Train from Luzern to Interlaken Ost

Hello. I’ve tried to reserve a seat for the 15:06 train from Luzern to Interlaken Ost on July 26th. I’ve already purchased the ticket. When I click the Seat reservation only on SBB mobile app, it says “Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a reservation for this connection”. Can anyone know how to reserve a seat?

It is not necessary to make a reservation in this train, you will find enough free seats, but it is possible. You can find more informations here (see Lucerne – Interlaken Express):

Danhiel I appreciate your reply. Since the train has the sign for high occupancy expected, I wanted to make sure.

Koivaiwouc47 The high occupancy is only from Brienz to Interlaken. From Luzern you have a low occupancy in 2nd class and a middle occupancy in 1st class. It depends also of the weather.

If possible, you should arrive 15 minutes in advance to board the train when it arrives and don’t wait at the end of the train, but in the front in direction of travel.
