Hi RolandP, I just want to confirm a couple of things about purchasing a Swiss Half Fare CARD, and particularly, when signed onto a SBB.ch account. I am looking to purchase the CARD with the FLEX CANCELLATION OPTION (cost 12CHF) to plan my itinerary. Then if I decide that the CARD is not the best option (unlikely), or if something else happens, can I cancel for free the CARD and all tickets I have made so far using the CARD? And I can do this cancellation using either the SBB app or being signed onto the SBB.ch website? I don’t have to complete forms and then send them to customer service?
I understand that the cost for the FLEX CANCELLATION OPTION for the CARD is not reimbursable.
I found the wording in the help text for the FLEX CANCELLATION OPTION somewhat confusing. I wasn’t sure if it applied to all tickets purchased using the CARD or just mountain excursion tickets.
